A Day Changes Everything

Yesterday, we were told that 20,000 moonbats in Canada would be protesting Bush's arrival in the north country. Apparently reporters bought this hook, line and sinker, because today the journalists outnumber the protestors. If there is no story to tell, the media will be there to tell it.

UPDATE: Kate MacMillan presents an American expat's view of living in Canada. Sounds to me like many self-hating Americans would feel right at home there. This is my favorite part:

Part of what's irksome about Canadian anti-Americanism and the obsession with the United States is that it seems so corrosive to Canada. Any country that defines itself through a negative ("Canada: We're not the United States") is doomed to an endless and repetitive cycle of hand-wringing and angst.

Hmmm. Brings back memories of a president election from the recent past
