Instead of lamenting about an "illegal war of aggression," perhaps the poets should focus on explaining to us, through verse, why minority Kurds should be gassed on the whim of an Iraqi general, why children should be imprisoned for not toeing the Ba'ath Party line, why a population should live in poverty and need while their so-called leader lives in opulence. Tell us that, great bards, share with us your great insight.

Or just shut the hell up.
