OK, someone please explain to me how TV meteorologists aren't absurdly overpaid. You sit there watching the local "news" rehash the national news from the past day (most of which you already knew) for 20 minutes, along with several local stories about which you usually don't really care -- you're just tuned to find out what kind of weather to expect. Then this cheeseball comes on, with the bad jokes and the big smile, and spends 9 minutes and 45 seconds reviewing the weather that already happened. And it's a safe bet that there's an intern somewhere actually putting all of that together. Finally, there's a 15 second summary of what kind of weather to expect in the coming hours and days, which ends up being wrong, anyway. Yeah, thanks, Chief. Glad you're in the top tax bracket.
