Random musings from NFL Week 1:
What happened to Green Bay? Somewhere over the past year, they quietly became mediocre, at best.
Kurt Warner seems to be distracted by the sound of the bench calling his name.
The Giants have some work to do, but they could be quite good this year.
Jim Nance raised some eyebrows with his Colts-Bucs SuperBowl prediction. Maybe it's because the Colts have yet to play like a SuperBowl team... at least in recent memory. And, while we're at it, back-to-back championships are somewhat rare these days.
Stacey Mack w/ 62 yards in the first half against Miami. Houston may pull themselves out of the cellar sooner than some thought.
If anything happens to Clinton Portis, my fantasy team is finished. As it stands, I grossly overestimated the boost Kyle Boller would give to Travis Taylor.
Carolina's defense was much vaunted in the pre-season. I'm not seeing it. Unfortunately for them, 50-some total yards of offense in the first half against Jacksonville does not bode well for the rest of the year, either.
