He's Right, You Know

He's right, but probably not the way he intended:

You couldn't have a starker contrast between the multiple layers of checks and balances [at '60 Minutes'] and a guy sitting in his living room in his pajamas writing.

Still no update on that CBS report that was supposed to be released this morning -- you know, the one that proved that the documents weren't faked.  Edward R. Who?

UPDATE:  They've made their statement. Basically, they found someone to say that the documents are probably false, but the sentiments are more or less close enough. Needless to say, they're trying to stick w/ the premise, even though the underlying foundation is completely and (pretty much) admittedly phony.

By the way, CBS "News" is keeping the whole original story on their website, for now. Shouldn't there be some sort of regulatory body that limits use of the term "news" to describing programs that -- oh, I don't know -- tell you what actually happened? You can't sell something as "low-carb" these days unless it really is, but you can spout out any garbage that comes to mind and call it "news."
