Newsday: "Bush=Hitler"

As I watched Tuesday night's network coverage of the unrelenting political propaganda hour known as the Republican National Convention, the first thought that came to mind was of old newsreels of those self-congratulatory Nazi rallies held in Germany during the reign of Adolf Hitler.

He goes on to make the self-admittedly extreme comparisons between the Nazi's and the Republicans..

Then again, Hugh Pearson also has written on Condi Rice (not literally ON her, because, well, she'd have to be on top, but...):

I must admit that, given the type of power Rice has (even if diluted by the ability to overrule it, exercised by President Bush), I, personally, would get a real rise out of the chance to make love to her, solely for the thrill of being handled by a woman (she’d have to be on top), with her power.
