I'd kick this guy's ass if I saw him.

This guy, Pablo Paredes... argh. I don't even know where to begin..

On the morning of Saturday December 18th, Petty Officer Third Class Pablo Paredes turned himself in to Navy authorities at the 32nd Street Naval Station in San Diego, CA. After consulting with his family and lawyer Jeremy Warren; Pablo decided to submit his Conscientious Objector (CO) package and turn himself in to the Navy authorities.

First of all, he's a deserter who called the newspapers so they could watch his dramatic refusal to do his job. He refuses to fulfill his obligation to support his fellow soldiers, sailors, and Marines, but he wants us to support him.

From "Pablo's Story":

Pablo Paredes joined the US Navy in 2000. he was a young man with enthusiasm for life and a desire to experience the world; thus joining the Navy seemed to be a positive move. When asked if he ever considered that he might be called upon to participate in war, Pablo says "never in a million years did I imagine we would go to war with somebody who had done nothing to us."

You can listen to this asshat here. If you don't want to, he describes our soldiers as criminals and murderers ala John Kerry. He also wants to educate (edumacate) our "youf" and make it "werf it" for everyone.
