Not On The Ball, Frank
More poker fun and games, this time in Minnesota, where they are having trouble figuring out how to regulate it. This statement gets my vote for All-Time Stupidest Thing Ever Said: "It's the soup of the day. It's very popular," said Frank Ball, director of Minnesota's Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Division. But, he said, "It's not gin rummy. It's not 500. It's not hearts. Those are all games of skill. This is a random game, and it's a gamble." Perhaps Frank can explain to us how the random distribution of cards in those games is somehow different from the random distribution of cards in poker. Moron. posted by the wolf | 4:14 PMon this |
