Jackson Pollack Meets Coco
I think we've finally blown the lid off of abstract art now that chimps are creating paintings that sell for thousands. The collection of three tempera paintings -- all abstract -- were auctioned at Bonhams in London alongside works by impressionist master Renoir and pop art provocateur Andy Warhol. Doesn't labeling these things as "abstract" imply that its creator had some artistic intent? Sometimes crap is just crap. posted by the wolf | 1:19 PMon this |
