Lunch With W

I got to attend a luncheon today where the guest speaker was none other than the President of the United States. I had chicken.

It was a good speech, with a few well-timed jokes and several interesting updates on the economy (it was an Economics Club of Chicago meeting, after all).

One shocking update, however: things aren't as awful as the general media would have you believe. It turns out that the country may not be as hopelessly mired in disaster as we've been hearing. I know... imagine.
